Dr. Johannes Mellenthin is an independent advisor and Data & AI leader with experience across enterprise transformation, GenAI, data platforms, cloud strategy, technical advisory, and technology partnerships. He previously worked at CERN as part of the ATLAS Collaboration, where he applied machine learning and large-scale data analysis to particle physics research.
Most recently, he served as Partner | Head of Data Analytics & AI at :em engineering methods AG, leading data, AI, and cloud initiatives for industrial clients. Before that, he was Vice President Cloud DACH at Adastra GmbH, responsible for AWS partnerships, enterprise cloud growth, technical pre-sales, and AI-driven transformation programs.
His work combines strategic advisory, pre-sales leadership, solution architecture, and commercial ownership across cloud, data, and AI engagements. His experience spans enterprise data platforms, go-to-market strategy, technology partnerships, and GenAI — turning enterprise opportunities into executable programs, scalable solutions, and measurable business outcomes.
